Common questions
I deleted photos but my storage didn't go up. Deleted photos wait in the Photos app's Recently Deleted album for up to 30 days, so the space comes back when that album empties. To get it back sooner, open Photos › Albums › Recently Deleted and choose Delete All. Pipkin can't empty it for you; only you can.
How do I get a photo back? Open Photos › Albums › Recently Deleted, pick the photo and tap Recover. In Pipkin, You › Recently deleted shows what Pipkin removed and takes you there.
Why did Pipkin keep some photos I expected it to delete? Pipkin always keeps favorites, edited photos, photos in your albums, anything you've kept before, receipts and records, and screenshots with dates that haven't happened yet. It also keeps the best photo of every moment.
Some photos couldn't be deleted. Photos synced from a computer, or shared with you by someone else, can only be removed where they came from. Pipkin's What changed sheet tells you which ones.
Pipkin says some photos are waiting for iCloud. Those photos are stored only in iCloud. Connect to the internet and Pipkin will fetch them; the ones already on your iPhone can be reviewed right away.
How do I cancel Pro? iPhone Settings › your name at the top › Subscriptions › Pipkin, or Settings › Pipkin Pro inside the app. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
I bought Pro but it isn't showing. Open Settings › Pipkin Pro › Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with.
I bought Lifetime. Do I still have a subscription? Possibly. Buying Lifetime doesn't cancel a subscription, so cancel it in Subscriptions to avoid being charged.
Can my family use my Pro? Yes. Pro works for up to five other people in your Apple Family Sharing group.
How do I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple. Use Settings › Pipkin Pro › Request a refund in the app, or reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does Pipkin upload my photos? No. Everything happens on your device. Nothing is ever sent to us, and Pipkin has no account, ads or tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I start over? Settings › Start fresh resets your keep choices, links and Pipkin's plant. It never touches your photos, albums or Pro purchase.
