Terms of Use

Pipkin is free to use, Pro is optional, and you're always the one who decides what gets deleted.

Effective November 3, 2026. These terms are between you and Matthew Borgfeld ("we") for the Pipkin: Camera Roll Cleanup app ("Pipkin"). They add to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies. Where the two differ, these terms apply, except that nothing here limits Apple's rights under its agreement.

Using Pipkin

We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use Pipkin on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's rules. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the app.

Pipkin Pro

PlanPrice (US)How it bills
Pro Monthly$2.99 a monthRenews automatically each month
Pro Yearly$19.99 a year7-day free trial, then renews automatically each year
Pro Lifetime$39.99 onceOne payment, no renewal

Prices may differ by country and are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase, or when a free trial ends.

The free version stays free. We won't take away free features you rely on to push you toward Pro.

Your photos and deleting

Pipkin only suggests. Nothing is deleted until you review it and confirm in iOS's own delete prompt. Deleted items go to the Photos app's Recently Deleted album, where you can recover them for up to 30 days; after that, iOS removes them for good. Shrink and Trim save new copies and keep your originals until you choose to delete them.

You're responsible for what you choose to delete, and for keeping backups of anything important. Pipkin's suggestions, such as best shots, expired screenshots and matches, are automated guesses and may be wrong.

No warranty, limited liability

Pipkin is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free or always available, and we aren't liable for lost photos or data, or for indirect or consequential damages. If we're found liable anyway, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pipkin in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Apple

Apple isn't responsible for Pipkin or these terms, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and the release notes will say so. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Questions: pipkin.support@gmail.com.
